CVKristin Tessmar-Raible graduated 2001 from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. In 2004 she completed her doctoral studies at the University of Marburg in Germany. During her PhD studies she was Visiting Scientist at serveral institutions including the EMBL in Heidelber, the University of Cambridge (UK), and the ECSF in San Francisco (USA). In the years 2004 - 2008 Kristin Tessmar-Raible worked as Post-doc at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Germany. 2008 Kristin Tessmar-Raible joined the Max F. Perutz Laboratories in Vienna, Austria, as Junior Group. In the following years she successfully established her own research group and received prestigious research funding including the START Price (2008) from the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and in 2013 the START grant from the ERC (European Research Council).
